My father Wayne, was a very loving man who will be greatly missed by many, including my mom, his
wife of 33 years, 5 children and 6 grandchildren, a father, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and many nieces
and nephews. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, Civil War history, and he also enjoyed genealogy.
Most importantly he was very passionate about his family and friends.
He was taken from us too soon from injuries he received in a motorcycle accident. I know that God
has a plan for each and everyone of us, it is just a difficult time for our family. A few of us were
sitting on mom's front porch one evening and said that we could just see him now, riding a harley on
the streets of gold with Granny Shock on the back just laughing and having a good ol' time. Dad you
will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN and we will ALWAYS LOVE YOU. Rest in peace our sweet angel, we will meet
again one day.

Our Precious Brother

In childhood, Wayne was closer to me than a baby brother. In many ways, he was like my very own child. I helped Mom look after him a lot and never got tired of that. We saw him through some very scary childhood things. In adulthood, we may have seemed to grow a little apart, but I always tried to make occasions when we could all be together, as Mom and Dad wanted us to do. I shall continue that as long as I am able and hope the family will share these times. I loved Wayne more than anyone will ever know. I miss him every day, and after many years of not crying, I cry a lot now. He was the joy of many lives and we will never forget him. His never-ending smile will be with us always, until we meet again.

angel wings

On angel wings you do fly
On angel wings into the sky
On angel wings i do cry
Because those angel wings took you away
On angel wings the heralds sing
Is there no such lovely thing?
On angel wings you fly away.
I will see these angel wings again someday
When i am old and my time has come
On angel wings I will fly
Until I'm holding you once again
Smiling on angel wings

Megan Shockey

Not everyone has the privilege of having in-laws like you and Robin. Legally you were only my father-in-law just short of two weeks. To me, you were my father-in-law for the past 5 years. You always treated me like one of your own children and I thank you for that. You have many people that love you and miss you. The memories of you in their hearts will keep you alive in our minds. I will make sure that Eric, Hayden, and I see you again.

Uncle Wayne, You were a great uncle. I learned alot growing up hanging out on Wilson St. Know that your family loves and misses you.

Paul Lemley (Nephew) October 14, 2009

I know I am still with you
in your prayers, your thoughts, your heart
And though you cannot see me,
I will always be a part
of life's sweet celebrations
in those times when you reflect
on how, though things are different,
through our love, we still connect.
We'll see each other someday
when our spirits all are free,
until then, I am with you
because you remember me.
